I'd say Messi was the overall best player, but Ronaldo has to be at the top after nailing in that clutch penalty against england! Btw, did you see the smile on his face before the PK??? its like he knew history and luck were both on his side and he just couldnt go wrong! lol

Podolski. If you mean the Brazilian Ronaldo, he mite have been good once, but now hes fatter and lost many of his soccer skills. If you mean C. Ronaldo, he's quite hot, but he's not THAT good. I think the german team has loads of good players. Miroslav Klose is even better that Podolski!

Ronaldo should get an award for best young cheat. Have you seen how that idiot falls over when players get within 2 foot of him. He is an absolute disgrace. I fear for the future of the game with cheats like him winning awards.

andersonp1964, you are just being a sore loser. Just because portugal knocked out your team doesnt mean you have to cry about it and blame it on cheating. Face it okay, Portugal was better. Ronaldo does not dive because if you actually watched the game you could clearly see peoples feet hitting his. So quit with making up stories just because your crappy little team didnt win. Portugal deserved every win they got and Ronaldo doesnt dive.

Ahh I can't decide.. I think I voted twice, once for each of them.
Podolski because I love Germany and he scored many many excellent goals; Ronaldo because he's sexy as hell and really good with his little fakes and flourishes.
