Yao Ming is the only superstar center in the NBA. The team must be built around him, not TMac. TMac is an amazing athlete and a great scorer, but we need guyz to help Yao. We need a dirty, rough, in your face power forward to grab some rebounds. The role of a distributing point guard is overrated, once we get Mike James via the mid level exception and Bob Sura comes back, we'll be fine. Trading TMac is an interesting idea especially if Kevin Garnett's name is brought up. Either way, get some athleticism on that perimeter and we can do some damage.

Dump tmac becuae his back is a big liability, find a good point gaurd, and play like the heat did... Every play the ball goes through shah, well in this case Yao. You step up on D and teach yao to jump straight up when he blocks a shot. Hes pretty much lunging at everything that comes his way, forcing the refs to call the foul, therefor yao sits the bench due to foul trouble. They need to try and get a big time trade with tmac. Maybe steve nash, maybe chris paul, a good point gaurd will solve there problems. They have JJ who well help them spread the floor with his shooting. IF he can get the penetration and kick going then he will have some dimension to his game. Plus it will free him up more for his J. Yao also needs to rehab his foot and get back on the court to refine his post moves. His head some decent games but at 7'y he should be getting 20-25 pts and 8-14 boards a night. EVERY NIGHT. So pretty much get a point gaurd or tell Tmac that he cant fire up every shot he has.

they should loose yoa ming and get a better center, and they need to find a better PF & SF, Tracy McGrady is 2x a player but Houston needs to find better backup so they can at least have a chance!
