No, that's called being immature, and looking for drama.

Yes, you truly can and it's truly painful. Some of the answers have confused "loving" with actually having a relationship with two people simultaneously. Many people "love" two people all their lives while only having a relationship with one of the two, like say, the married individual who is committed to and loves his/her spouse because they've built a life and family together but whose "soulmate" so to speak, is someone else they cannot be with for whatever reason. You just have to learn to cope the best you can.

We can love our son and our boyfriend at the same time, but in different ways, we cannot however love two men at the same time in a physical and emotional way. When we truly love a man our whole purpose in life is to see him happy and take away his pain. If you are having to choose, then you don't love either men and it would be better to look for a guy you truly love. Once you find him there will be no choice to make. You will just KNOW. That is what love is

Yes, it's possible, but not to the point of holding both of them in your life on a continuous basis. Somebody will have to give, and it's not going to be easy to let go. Try to make sure you choose the right one for the lasting relationship, because you'll always be thinking about you could have had the other one.

Yes, your husband and your son. But seriously, loving two partners brings more problems and at some point you will have to choose - if they don't both dump you first. Stick to one partner - its a lot of work and investment and costly to have more than one.

i believe you can, am currently in a situation whereas, i'm married with children, have been with my wife for 6 years, but had a relationship with her during our school years, so we know each other well, or so i thought. recently bumped into another old school flame, that i kind of dumped when i left for the forces, but problem is, it feels as though we have never been apart. she feels the same. and am now undecided as to where the future lays. decisions must be made though, as i know, i cant have my cake, and eat it................

Yes BUT its only on the level of how much you love your friends, its not true love. Your playing yourself and them.
True love, and it is different and exqusite, is when only one person in the world will do.
