Technically the most exercising sport is cross country skiing, with swimming in second. But since you said most physically demanding and not exercising the answer is a tough choice. In football you run , tackle, jump, and get hit. In hockey you skate, hit people hard, and also get hit.In basketball you run back and forth thye whole game. Then that leaves soccer, where you also run back and forth but for 90 minutes. So, wth that in mind, I'd have to say the most physically demanding sport is soccer. You run back and forth for 45 straight minutes, twice in a gameand there's no timeouts. You can't be fat in soccer while you can get away with it in football, hockey, and sometimes basketball.

dont listen to the people that say football! because football players stop like every minute so they get a break, unlike soccer, the only way to get a break is getting subbed out or playing golie against a REALLY bad team!

Ummm, Cross Country, duh!! Running 3.1 miles as fast as you can ain't easy. No breaks, no in-race drinks, just you running as fast as you can. Plus it has the highest injury rate, cuz people constantly sprain ankles and get shin splints and stuff.
