Not just you - heck, I'm surprised they aren't releasing them in theaters & on DVD simultaneously these days!! They want to capitalize on the big bucks to be made from DVD sales, so they hustle them on to the market as fast as possible - it's all about $$$$ - bottom line.

Yes, it's just you. The rest of us have already realized that. (Just kidding you). If it only lasts two weeks in a theatre (Just My Luck) it will do better on DVD. What I like is when the DVD release and the Pay Per View release is on the same day too ... that's a bad sign.

I assume they do this to capitalize on a movie that didn't do what it was expected to do at the box office. Notice that more popular movies take longer to come out, and the dvd themselves have more work put into them.

No, it's not just you - they've been releasing movies on DVD earlier than they used to to cut back on pirating the movies.

NO ITS NOT JUST YOU,THERE IS ALOT MORE MONEY NOW IN DVD'S THAN THE MOVIES AFTER A MONTH OR SO.MOST PEOPLE INCLUDING ME WOULD RATHER WAIT,PAY 14.99 AT BEST BUY AND OWN A MOVIE THAN PAY 20.00 TO GO,GET A SITTER AND PAY 25.00.PUT UP WITH IGNORANT PEOPLE WITH CELL PHONES,AND JUST ENJOY IT AT HOME.
