ME! The only reason why the american society has accepted her is the way she moves her body, cuz, face it, the woman just CANNOT sing. And who understnads her anyways? Her English lyrics don't make ANY sense, and her accent gets in the way. I don't understand how just by her moving her body a certain way, she can make millions. Yes i am a hater. Oh well. I'm sure I'm not the only supporter to this belief.

Look at Britney and J-Ho uhhh... I mean J-lo. They suck but people love them!? I think Shakira's nasal voice is like nails on a chalk board but sorry i think she's she's gonna be here for a while. They're all like Bob Saget and David Hasselhoff. They completely suck at what they do but still make money while doing it.

She's not so bad. I thought she was bull crap before I watched a program about her life it was on ABC Primetime a couple months ago. She was pretty driven to succeed from an early early age, like 12 or something, and on her own terms. I can admire her drive even if I don't like her music. She's a strong woman, totally in charge of her career, noone made the decisions she made to succeed except her.
There's nothing I like about her music, but I can surely admire her strength not to be taken advantage of in the man dominated music entertainment industry.
