Another American Independence Day (the Fourth of July) is on us; I'm wondering what you think of the day's meaning...or, if it is thought about at all!

Thanks much.

We know it's important for you guys, but we don't really think about it here in Britain (apart from envying you the day's holiday off work!). Isn't it celebration of independance from some-one?! That's as much as I know!

I think it's pretty much like our Rememberance Sunday or V.E. day. It is our own countries recognition of our fight against oppression from others. Independance Day is your way of celebrating your freedom. Go for it.
