They are just like other diseases, only located down on your sexual parts. Having sex with other people means that you could catch one of the diseases. STD means Sexually Transmitted Disease, so you get them by having sex. There are many kinds of STD's including AIDS and also less serious ones like genital warts. You obviously didnt get what she was saying. She was making fun of christians. She wasnt gay bashing at all. unprotected sex causes std's and where they came from i do not know.
