Well i usely name my pets after something like a celebrity or a friend (like mikey is my hamsters name) and my fishes name is J Lo and Jennifer ( Aniston) and Brad Pitt and heres a good name Bacardi that is what i named my cat

For the hamster you could name it by it's color.(ex:white=angel, black=midnight, brown=chestnut, yellow=butterscotch) For you're fish, the type of fish, how fast it swims, the color, or it's attitude or characteristics.
