Contact your registry office and request a certified copy. It does not cost much and all you need is the date you were married, location of the marriage, your dates of birth, full names and maiden name. If you do not know which is your local registry office you can try births, deaths and marriages online and order it over the internet providing you have the relevant details.

The County in which you were married will have a record of your marriage certificate. Just contact them, and they can arrange to make you a duplicate....for a fee, of course. I don't know who would handle that where you are, but where I got married, it's the same department that handles auto license renewals.

Call the city hall in the city where you received the marriage certificate and ask for a copy. Will cost you a little bit of money.

HI,

Go to your registry office and ask them for a copy. It will cost you £6.00
It should be in the area where you married, and will take a few days, but very good service for very little money. You can search online too, look for your local gov page listing.
Hope this helps, and good luck!

I have been married for 10 years, and in all that time, I have never needed to show our marriage license. I don't think it's something to worry over.
Just because you lose the paper, doesn't mean the contract if void.

If you go to the courthouse of the county where you got married, they have the original, and you may get a copy for little or no fee. Take heart, it will be okay.

Go to the place where you got married and say your name, they will find the file again and reprint original certificates for you... You may be charged for it and it may not be an immediate service... you may need to wait or have them sent by courier....

Here in PA we usually to where you would get a copy of your birth certificate, or a death certificate in Harrisburg. I dunno which state you're in but I would just do a local websearch online and find out that way.
