Has anyone heard of the New York Institute of Photography?

I am considering enrolling in these classes, are they worth the tuitons, tapes, and books cost?

I have a friend who is currently enrolled and is very excited about the program. She feels it's worth it all, as she wants to go professional in photography.

i have an ex who did it. he gained a lot out of it. and i believe there are a few national geographic photographers who used the schools education.
