Use one of the layout editors, if you run a search for "myspace backgrounds" or "myspace layout editors" you can find 1000's of them and just pick the one you like. Once you put in all your preferances then they will give you a code to paste onto your about me section that will change the look of your profile. If you want a certain picture as your background you will likely have to get a photo account like on photobucket.com and have a picture URL to link the photo on your page. if you really have trouble get ahold of me on here and send me the pic you want and stuff like that and i'll try and help you out.

There are plenty of good websites that offer pre-made backgrounds specifically for myspace. I've listed my favorite below. All you have to do is browse throught the different backgrounds until you find the one you like and then copy the code.
Go to your myspace page and click edit your page. Under the "ABOUT ME" section paste the code.
Save your changes and tuh-du... new background...

just go to a profile that you like, and under "about me" there should be something along the lines of : i edited my page with Thomas’ Myspace Editor V3.6. just click on that link.

go onto your fave search engine, then search, what you want as a backround then type myspace layout, like this, say you want a soccer layout so you search
soccer myspace layout or background! hope it helps!
