Yes.....you people who have been paying water rates have had it good for so long now... so serves you right!!!

Get a water meter and that way you'll only pay for what you use.

Drought = natural phenomena. I don't think the water companies planned it really, and can do bugger all about it, and since the money primarily pays for labour and maintenance, it'd be worsening things if you did stop paying.

Main point is, that you cannot buy water...you cannot charge someone for water itself...packaging, labour, treatment, etc can be cost-ed, but the water itself cannot. Soooooo, reduced water doesn't mean reduced costs, because the amount of labour is the same, as is the treatment.

Yeah you will have to still pay the same amount. If there is only one or two of you living in your house, you could save loads by getting a meter fitted, they will come and put it in free of charge. I live alone and i used to pay £43 a month on rates, now i pay about £9.

Council tax because in case you do not pay you'd be charged activity and also despatched to penitentiary. Water agencies are legally not allowed to exhibit your water off in any difficulty as long as someone is residing there. contact them and clarify the issue and they are going to exercising consultation a cheap pay lower back scheme with you. solid success
