I would say Philippe Senderos, in addition the other guys who have been mentioned. Defenders don't normally get much credit, but for his age, he has done a lot for club and country.

There are loads of promising young footballers at the moment.

I would say these 2 have the potential to be the best in the world in a few years time.

Lionel messi ( Argentina/Barcelona )
Robinho ( Brazil/Real Madrid )

Theo (jersey joe) wallcot is a tea-boy... NOTHING MORE!
Aaron Lennon (Spurs) has gone from 'potential' to a £10 million plus... in the space of a season.
We have a young striker (Lee Barnard) also... Who is showing such potential also and he will be a revelation for England, in the 2008 European championships.
'Martin Jol' is a 'genius'!

A big club, no doubt. But I'd make sure I'd leave appropriately instead of taking a huff and demanding a move or something, evolving in the clubs fans hating me and calling me something along the lines of a 'traitor' etc. However, I'd stand by them till the end of the season to try and help them.

I was very impressed with Lennon from England.

C. Rinaldo was impressive except for the incredible amount of diving and whining.

Henry from France is not so young but still plays like a young player.

Arron Lennon, he played amazing against Portugal when he came on for David Beckham, he worked at 100% for the whole time he was on the pitch and he got his rewards for that because he had a cracking game.

Aaron Lennon seemed pretty good. Not seen Theo Walcott play so how does anyone know he's so good, Sven should have given him a chance though in one of the early games!
