Cheese, of course, but not necesaily American, maybe Swiss or even pepper jack. Mustard (maybe the spicy kind), cooked or diced onions if available, sometimes relish. Mushrooms are always nice if available. Horseradish sauce is nice and different as an alternative to ketchup or mustard.

I like to put mustard, chili sauce, and sometimes pickles when I eat a hamburger. I also occassionally chop up lettuce and put it on the meat.

Absolutely nothing. I like mine plain. Ironically, that appears to be the most damn difficult hamburger to make because whenever I order a plain burger, it ALWAYS comes out with something.

hot peppers raw onion fried onion fried mushrooms cheese ketchup pickles relish dijon mustard lettuce.
it makes for one hell of a big burger but you gotta try it good stuff
