If they say yes, you can ask:
-How can I go about applying?
-What positions are you looking to fill?
-What is the starting salary?
-What are the hours?
-Any benefits?

Good luck!

(1) Hello, I'm calling to find out if you're hiriing new employees.

(2) You are? When may I come in to fill out an application?

(3) You're not? May I fill out an application anyway?

(4) How long do you keep these applications on file?

(5) When should I call back to follow up on this application?

(6) What hours and shifts do you have available?

(7) Is there a dress code? Do you provide uniforms? Will I need to buy special shoes?

(8) When can I start?

(9) How long do I have to work before there are any extra benefits, such as health insurance or vacations?

(10) What is my rate of pay?

Please note that the last question is LAST---don't ask it first. Ask the other ones first--so that the employer knows you want the job, not just money.

If you are going to be hired, the employer will have more questions for you than you need to ask of them. Dress nicely, be honest, smile, don't use a lot of slang terms, present yourself well and try to be professional and mature and you'll get hired.

Are you accepting applications at this time? For full time or part time? How many positions are available? Is there a time I can come in and speak with a manager? Do you require any experience?

Just some suggestions!

First, ask if they're hiring. Then go fill out an application. Then if they haven't called in a week, call and say you're doing a followup and ask if you could get an interview.

Always ask for a manager. I would ask about hours and pay and when is the soonest possible time to come in for an interview.

I dont think you should call them on the phone. Your best bet would be to go in and talk to them face to face
