I'll answer you with another question. If a person is born, raised in a normal middle class family, and all their days on the planet was never sexually attracted to a woman but was always attracted to men, is that a choice? Or is that the way that person was born? Answer that and you have the answer to your question.

I odn't want to offend anyone and I respect everyones choice in there choices in life. I don't think people are born gay. My brother was a straight guy who decided he liked men later on. And he even said himself, that he was not born gay and must men and women he knew had not been.

It has been proven that Truley GAY people are both with the gene setting this lifestyle in their mind. Thus, they are born.

There are also others who CHOOSE to be gay for one reason or another, so the answer is both.

Well, I believe many people are. Others choose it as part of their particular life journey. Ultimately, it is not important by what mechanisms people become lovers of their own or another gender. What matters is that as a society we agree that the world is in desperate need of diversity in sexual identity, that the world needs straight people, needs gays, needs lesbians, needs bisexual folks, needs transgender individuals, needs people who just don't fit into any category neatly, needs people still searching to know who they are. What the world doesn't need any more of is narrow, parochial opinions condemning others simply because they are different.

Different is not wrong. Thinking that it is is a particularly dangerous myth.

yes i do, my wife and I know several gay people and they were all born that way. there is nothing wrong with someone being gay or being friends with a gay person. they are just as good and sometimes better than non gay people, at least they do not hate us for being heterosexual. they could be hetero-phobic, but the are not.

No I don't. I think gay men and women just have a weakness they need to overcome through their faith. I have known gay people who told me they flipped to gay because the opposite sex was just too much trouble.

Sorta...all people are born sinners. All of life is a struggle to avoid sin.

Some people steal, some beat their spouse, some engage in homosexual acts, etc. Homosexuals are no more sinners than the rest of us.

I think it's predetermined from the moment they are conceived. All the gay people I know say they knew they were gay as children, grew up in normal loving families, were not molested........
