I know that I am...well kind of....doesn't it suck having to work today and having tomorrow off.

I stayed late at night with my family after watching firework, but I had to wake up at 6:15 am to catch my bus to work, which was painful.
However, it is quite at work. It reminds me of the day after thanksgiving. Even the streets are almost empty and quiet. it is not bad after all to go to work and enjoy all this serenity.
I Have to take my lunch hour now. I think I will have a gorgeous lunch hour. I might even extend it and do some shopping since my boss is off today.

I am working for a few hours, but everything is very quiet at the office. Nobody else came in today. Tomorrow I am off, but my hubby has to work 12 hours. That's the life of a cop. He will protect us. Happy 4th to all.................

I'm working, but there was an announcement that everyone gets to leave at 1 since hardly anyone showed up and the people that did show up aren't being productive because of it. That was the best news I've heard all day!

Since we were paid to be off tomorrow - i used a vacation day for today - gotta love those 4 day weekends ... should have at least one every month
