It's not at all bad to be a virgin at 20, and if you're still single it's certainly the will of God that you remain a virgin until you marry. Almost nobody achieves that though, and most who "give it up" for the first time do so with someone that they really aren't very emotionally or socially bonded with. It usually happens because of the heated persistence of a boyfriend who may not have bad intentions, but who is more concerned with his own pleasure than with the consequences that it will have for the both of you. I wish you well, young lady, and be assured that the one you eventually decide to make love to will be blessed 10-fold because you had the good sense to save yourself for him. No, of course it isn't, i think that says alot about yourself. If you feel as tough you're not ready for that step then no it isn't bad. Maybe you're waiting for the right one for you to come along. Which is a very good thing, hell, if i had a chance to do it all over again i would rather be a virgin. Sex is a very beautiful, when it's with the right person, but at the same time can cause alot of hurt. Good Luck!!!!!!!!

No, it is good to be a virgin until you are married! If you have self-esteem and respect for your body, you will not have sex with a guy unless he truly loves you, but the only way to know for sure that he loves you is to get married and make a commitment before the eyes of God. If a guy tells you he's in love with you but doesn't want to marry you, he's lying and just wants to get in your pants while also keeping his options open for someone else. If it were true love, he'd have no problem making a commitment before having sex with you.
Don't listen to all the other girls who are having sex because they have low self-esteem and just sleep with guys because it makes them feel loved temporarily, but in the end it just makes them feel worse about themselves because they gave their bodies away like cheap pieces of meat. Then they end up being single mothers with lots of diseases. Besides, the sex for them probably isn't that good because the guys they sleep with just use them as objects and don't take the time to give the woman her pleasure.
Believe me, I found out the hard way. I had sex once when I was a teenager because I thought a girl loved me, but later on she broke my heart. Next time I will know better and wait until marriage (because at least once you're married, you can sue the person if they cheat on you). I am glad I am a "secondary virgin" at 22, but all the time I regret making a mistake when I was younger. You should definitely be proud to be a virgin because it is a great present you can give your future husband.

No it's not bad! It's wonderful! I'm proud of you. It takes a lot more to stay pure then it does to give in to temptation. You have a precious gift to give to your future husband and he will apreciate it. Good Luck!
I was a virgin till 20 and then i got engaged. I wish I would have waited till our wedding night but we were engaged 1 and 1/2 years and it was too long!!!!

I'm 22 and wish I'd still be a virgin. If I was to know that I was going to find my true love, I would of waited since 16.

Goodness no!!! I was a virgin bride at the age of 28. Save your self for your husband. Most men want a to marry a virgin. And most men will respect women who save them selves.

Nope that's awesome and you should be very proud of yourself I must say. My bestfriend was a virgin until she was 37 and for me I only wish I would have waited longer than being 16.

I think its great! I was a virgin at 20....lost it right before my 21st bday....I am glad I waited so long. I knew what sex really was at 20.
