I think Puffy (or is it Diddy, Sean J, P. Daddy or whatever) needs to realize today's music is all in the producing, alas. You can take a 14 year old kid and as long as she has nice long blonde hair, with enough production prior to release she can end up sounding like a superstar vocally on the track.
This was a charge leveled at Shania Twain of course... that she was a product of production by Mutt Lange and until she toured she never earned her chops.

well. yes. Not because they stink, but girl and boy bands aren't cool anymore. Its lame to put together a band when solo artists are the trend. Beyonce, Rihanna, Chris Brown, Cassie, etc.
