Sorry to say it must be the Lebanese youth, they are uncaring towards others in general. They fight, verbally abuse, provoke aggression, interrupt, belittle women if they are not Muslim by yelling out and doing disgusting gestures. Sorry.... they are even rude to their own mothers, and sisters because they think they can do anything they like without being pulled up about it.

I don't think this question can be answered, there are different ways of behaving everywhere...just because you come in from a different country and face the unfamiliar behaviors of that country doesn't mean that you are being rude to them or that they are being rude to you.

I think the french get a bum rap. If you treat them like they treat each other (i.e. say bonjour monsieur/madame to the worker when you enter a shop/restaurant), they'll treat you fine. If you don't, they'll think you think you're better than they are and will try to put you in your place. It's probably a similar story in other countries labeled as "rude."

People come on, Its FRANCE. Low down sorry bunch of people. We liberate them and do us the way they have. I'm not a big fan of the war in Iraq, but do support the troops. France calls us names and turns there back on us. History shows they never won a war, but did have a tie when they had a civil war. WHO WOULD HAVE THUNK IT.

The French - without a doubt. They have taken arrogance to a new extreme.
