They could play at the colosium, they could have live lions eating raw meat in cages outside while the fans are coming in, I think the stadium would be FULL of celebrities.

Good answers so far! But Detroit is not the market it once was, and don't you think LA Lions has a ring to it?

There is no way the Lions should move. Even in the worst of times, the fans are out in full force to cheer on our lowly Lions. Back in 2001 when the Lions only won 2 games, they were still third in the league in attendence.

This is not to say that I don't think that your idea isn't clever, I just can't see William Clay FORD, moving the Lions from the Motor City, or their brand new stadium.

Heck no. Detroit, regardless of the record, is an institution. On Thanksgiving, I look forward to seeing the Dallas Cowboys and the DETROIT LIONS, not the LA Lions. No Art Modell here.

Detroit should stay in Michigan. I don't think they will move, but the Raiders may be the team that moves back to LA. The raiders need a new stadium and LA is planning on a make over to the place where USC plays. I think the Raiders will move in 2009.
