there is b.c (before Christ) and a.d. (anno domini), or there is b.c.e. ( before common era) or c.e.(common era).

There's more than two depending on what calander you go by, Jewish, Lunar, Mathematical, Gregorian, Etc. B.C., B.C.E., A.D., C.E.
