It takes from 6 to 10 days after ovulation for your egg to implant if fertilization has occured, my HPT was positive at 8 days after implantation, however I did not have any bleeding at all, I had some abdominal cramping, like period pain, but very mild, Good luck.

I saw a program on the Discovery channel where couples who could not conceive, were having fertilized embryos implanted into the woman. They had to take the pregnancy test 2 weeks after. So, I would say 2 weeks and that is my final answer!!

Again ....go get a book called Taking Charge of your fertility by Toni Weschler. It will help you understand your body and all the myths about it. It will help you time when you are ovulating and the best times to conceive. My Doctor recommended it to me and after 1 year of trying I got the book. It worked the very next month. If you were properly charting you could actually tell in a FEW DAYS after conception....your doctor can 't even tell then! It turns out that my timing was wrong due to mis-information. I hope it helps you, too! It's not only about getting pregnant. It's about knowing your body and knowing when you are fertile or not. You can pick and choose what you do with your info. Good luck and don't listen the all the myths!

It takes a *minimum* of 2 days after implantation. It takes about a day until the zygote starts creating HCG, and another day until the HCG "spills over" into your urine. So you can *never* have a positive test earlier than that.

It's not how many days after implantation, really. The answer depends on when your period is due. You can test at 3 to 4 days before your period is due
