While I install operating system last time, it has been stopped suddenly. It also formatted the C: drive. While it started copying the necessary files it stopped at 70%. In my next try it says "Remve...." It does not boot operating DISC. To let u know that after installing windowx XP from win 98, I could not enter in bios setup. What can I do? Do u support repairing laptops or buying a new one.

Try removing any cd, dvd, disks from the machine. TYour machine is trying to boot from one of your disk drives first & there seems to be a disk in one of the drives based on the error message.

You can also try to change the sequence of which boot drive gets started 1st by going into the machines diagnostics...usually by pressing or holding the F5, F6 or F8 key during the machine startup.

This is not an unheard of problem, any tech support hotline should be able to walk you through a manual repair. Good luck...

Make sure when you reboot your system that there are no disks in the cd rom etc. If that's not the problem I suggest that you get a quote on the repair of your laptop before going out and buying a new one. It might just be something small that will cost you almost nothing instead of going out and buying a new laptop.

I really hope for your part that it's under warrenty. Format it first and try re-installing the OS. Also make sure that the BIOS settings is set to first boot device: CD-rom when starting installation.

Good luck, if the problem persists, get a new laptop

Usually when that comes up, you have a floppy disc in the drive. I don't know if you have a floppy disc drive on your laptop; if you do, that's probably the culprit. Otherwise...I don't know.

you might have a disc or memory from a digital camera still in your computer that it is seeing. try removing this then restarting your computer. if this problem persists i'd try to repair it, unless it is a few years old.
