I was dating this guy until he started reconciling with his baby mama. Now I need all my stuff but he won’t give back to me. What must I do? Should I confront him in front of his girlfriend or leave everything? Whenever I ask him he avoids me and the cellphone is off. He even threatens every guy who come to my my place. When he got back with her, he had just proposed marriage to me and I agreed but now I want out. He's busy telling people that I'm his wife and what I'm going through now it's just a passing phase.

Just leave. You don't NEED him to do ANYTHING for you including give your stuff back. You can replace all that stuff anyway, just like you can replace him. If you want out, just go. You either want out or you don't. Once someone breaks your heart, what difference does the stuff make? You don't need to explain this ghetto situation to a police officer or a judge in a court. How embarassing. Plus, then you have to see him again and possibly his girlfriend. Plus it sounds like he is already behaving in a threatening manner. Why instigate him further. Don't let him drag you into further negotiation over some electronics. Also, why do you have multiple guys coming to your place?
I would say - enough. I am now taking care of myself. I would get a new cel phone and a new number and report the old one missing, I would buy a new DVD which is like, $40 these days or $300 for a pretty good one, and I would get an Ipod. It sounds like you are ready for an upgrade anyway. He can have the old junk. You are ready for the NEW!

It sounds like things are much to complicated for you to be accepting a marriage proposal from him. If the cell phone is in your name you need to have it cut off immediatley. I think that he is holding onto your possesions because he is using it as bait to keep you coming back. Marriage will not make things better. You will just spend your time wondering if he is with the mother of his child when he is out or if he is with some other woman. You seems to be pretty intelligent to the situation that is going on. So do yourself a favor and walk away now. Good Luck on your situation.

Let it burn. And next time don't give so much. Let the guy appreciate YOU unattached to what you can give him. I know guys who will ONLY deal with women who will 'support' them in some way. That's not a real man. Sounds like you may have given gifts to win his affection and it just didn't work out? Otherwise he wouldn't be back with his child's mother. Don't give gifts next time. And don't use these gifts to try to hold on after its already overwith. Let go.

call the cops and have them with you when you get ur stuff. if its just cd's and dvd's then id say the hell with it let the bastard have em they can be replaced and its not worth the hassle and chalk it up as a lesson in life. if he bothers you you can get an order of protection against him.
if he goes around saying your his wife and other things u might be able to sue him for slander.

Stuff is just stuff and it can be replaced. It sounds like a small price to pay for freeing yourself from this two timing dog. Cut your losses and run free and thank GOD you didn't marry him.

how much stuff is in there? is it really worth getting back? if so, call the police, explain the situation, tell them you want out of the relationship and you want your stuff back but you fear for your safety...

write it off no need to start stuff just move on and if he is treating you call the cops and get a restraining order on him....

i would tell him that if he doesn't give them back to you, then you will have to go to the next step and have the police go with you over there to get your stuff..that will get him thinking..good luck..
