Sometimes the mother needs more than the husband, the mother is getting old and needs more attention.
The wife sees the husband as a stronger figure.
Some of us love our mums so much because they had a really hard life and still were capable of taking care of us.

Because sometimes the daughter is a only child.
Because sometimes the mother know too much of her daughter business.
Because the Mother and daughter are closer than the husband and wife, The Husband is suppose to be the wife's best friend and sometimes the wife make the critical mistake of allowing the mother to take the place of her husband. This has a trickling effect and always end up nasty and always never have a happy ending ALWAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Because they have not grown up yet. STill clinging on to mom's words when they should be clinging on to their husband's. Many a marriages have been destroyed by sons or daughters referring to their moms more than to their spouses. They think they are still children needing their mother's advice all the time.

Usually because it's their moms man.
Look at it this way, look at how long her mom has been an influence in her life as opposed to yourself. Basically, all her life. This is probably the woman who taught her to speak and walk upright and tucked her in at night and how to deal with the stresses of being a woman. This is probably the person who for the most part defined who your wife is today.
Keeping that in mind, look at things from your wife's perspective.
I'm not saying that doing that is right or wrong mind you...just offering my opinion as to why.

A good wife would care more about her husband...I adore my mom and i love my husband very much..But my life is with my husband and my children...Making a happy home for my hubby and kids is what i love to do...

I LOVE MY PARENTS VERY MUCH AS WITH THE REST OF MY FAMILY BUT MY KIDS,HUSBAND COMES BEFORE ANYBODY IF SHE FEELS THAT WAY TALK WITH HER AND IF IT CONTINUES THEN TELL HER YOUR GOING TO LEAVE
