No we aren't all going to die in 2012.
It's not Greek mythology, it's the Mayan Long Count calendar that predicts an event for 12-21-2012, but it's not an ending event, it's a new beginning.
Read "Maya Cosmogenesis 2012" by John Major Jenkins for a lot more on this subject. Read my 2012 article on my Jaguar Nights blog or my regular website for other information on that day.

I hope I am around to dine in 2012. As for Greek mythology, the Greeks of antiquity are all dead, so why should we worry about them?

Mythology is the key word there. According to those who use the Bible Code it apparently says the same thing.
I wouldn't worry about it, people have been foretelling the end of the world since the world began.

The Myan calander sunddenly stops on December 21, 2012. On that day all our creations, including domestic animals are supposed to destroy us. If you believe in the Bible code, there is a code that says the Earth will be struck be a comet in 2012 as well.

Hell definite OKC isn't a great crew without Russel Westbrook. they don't actually have a valid second scorer without him. Kevin Martin isn't undesirable yet he's not gonna drop 25 factors very regularly. they don't truly have yet another huge contributor without Russel. They depended way too a lot on KD contained in the sequence with Memphis and who can blame them, Serge Ibaka sucked and so did Kevin Martin contained in the sequence. And at the same time as i look on the roster from lost year for the Lakers, i imagine they could of dealt with OKC fairly surely.

People also said the world was going to explode in the year 2000. But last time I checked we're still around.

No, the world will end when the sun comes to close to the earth in about 3.1 billion years.

That's the year the Mayan calendar ends, has nothing to do with the end of life as we know. Sorry to say, that date is unknown, people who claim to know prey on the weak and feeble minded...
