Washington also has Brandon Lloyd, who is supposed to be a really good guy to fall back on, and will make a great #3 guy for them.

But I think the Skins need another year to get everything situated at QB, they don't have the right guy yet to take them the distance. I'm going to say Carolina has the best shot as it stands right now for the NFC because of the 1-2 punch they have in both the recieving group and the running backs. Lets not forget what Keary Colbert did his rookie season when Smith was out. He had about 740 yards, a good number for a rookie. He was hurt last year and barely got anything, but this year I think he's going to make an excellent addition at the #3 spot, giving Delhomme a range of targets, what with Foster being such a great reciever out of the back field as well. Then Williams right there too who can take hand offs in and out (which Foster will need). The defense was #3 last season, and lost Will Witherspoon, but picked up a variety of other line backers who are all worthy of filling in somewhere, so I think the defense is going to still be just as dangerous, what with being at the top for takeaways as well.

I'm gonna say Carolina, Washington, and Dallas are the teams that will be up for it this year, but they can't let those Seahawks sneak up on them. No need to worry about the NFC North, they're pushovers right now. All four are missing something that champions need.

AFC is pretty easy. Devner, Indy, or Cincinati, it all depends on the schedules for those three. Powerhouse offenses, improving defenses, and the weapons on the offense to score points....fast.

Skins do look good, and are a prime dark horse candidate out of the NFC this year.

Certainly, the Seahawks balanced attack and a new, focused ground game (with Davis hanging up the spikes) puts the Panthers in the driver's seat in the NFC South...

In the AFC, I think you still have to give a hard look at the AFC East with both the Pats and the Colts...the Chiefs are going to look great in the regular season again with a more tenured Larry Johnson carrying the load--but until they show me something in the playoffs I can't put them up there...same with the Colts. The Bungles were a great story last year; but with Carson Palmer still very much a question mark with his knee--I can't in good concience call them a legit contender.

Pats vs. Carolina would be the odds-on-favorite as of now...

dark horse prediction:

Skins vs. Ravens (McNair improves this offense considerably...which says more about Boller than it does McNair

Super Dark Horse:

Tennessee vs. NYG

I really like Volek--I think he's going to surprise a lot of people this year. With the Giants, they add a physical specimen in LaVar, and have Eli going into his third year---usually a big year for talent position players.

No, I nonetheless have faith that great Bowl XXV, between the manhattan Giants and Buffalo charges replaced into the terrific great Bowl ever performed. That one replaced into maximum memorable for Norwood's extensive good. the manhattan Giants could win their 2nd great Bowl Championship in 5 seasons on Scott Norwood's neglected field purpose on the top of the sport. this could finally end up being the 1st of four consecutive great Bowl losses for the charges.

I think the Cowboys will win the Super Bowl over the Ravens.

Sidenote-This is the first time I picked an NFC team to win it all since 1999. (St. Louis Rams)

Eagles have chance. If they don't get injured, I'll break it down for u.
QB: Great before getting sports hernia.
RB: Wit a Tra Thomas, Winston Justice, and Max Jean-Gilles at the line, their run game will improve.
O-line- Wit new improvments, it's better than last season.

Hate to be a copy cat, but I'm going with Peter King's(SI columnist) prediction. Cowboys vs. Pats. Parcells will keep T.O. in check for one season, and that season will be a championship season. Go Cowboy's!!!
