thats not correct question..
if usb doesnt work then you can check it by right click on my computer and then properties....
then check hardware....then device setups and check all list weather your usb device is or not..
if yes then uninstall it and reinstall it..
if not then rescan for hardware changes on uper little pc icon..
then insert cd and install new driver..
problem is solved.
i think you are asking for card reader...may b ur mmc gone bad

It sounds like you plugged a USB 2 device into a pc that only has USB 1 ports.

reboot your pc. then insert the USB. flash cards are usually plug and play especially if youre using windows xp. anyway, there are other possibilities like your USB might be damaged.
Note to everyone (who has flash cards and other external storage devices): Before you pull out your devices from the usb port, make sure that you stop the device first. this will prevent your device from getting corrupted. to stop a device, double click on the icon with an arrow at the lower right portion of your desktop.
then just stop the device. a message will appear if its safe to remove your storage device.

maybe the usb port isnt drive H:
or youre usb is non functioning properly...
right click on the drive, and then troubleshoot it
