They are goading us, because they think we are over extended, They need to do their dirt first , before a smart president gets in there, and ends their haughty talk. They should not think we don't still have enough to wipe them out with out using one Soldier. They forgot Japan I guess.

Because the nation of North Korea is run by a paranoid megalomaniac, and the people have no voice, nor any opportunity to think about it. So, when you say North Korea fears something, you really mean the dictator fears something. The people aren't allowed to think about anything independently, and are told what to fear by their paranoid government.

This is called Physiological war fare. If we attack them or if they attack us it will not be for the reason they put in the newspaper. No country is going to fire a nuke at us because no one benefits. Just look at how small North Korea is. Assuming their misses can reach us they will never destroy all of the USA but we can destroy all of them so it would not make sense for them to do it.
