Trees are green, the sky is blue
It is created by you know who
the god, the god, the most high
why oh why
the god in the sky
the skies are blue
the must pretty hue
but who can fathom
that people like you and me
can question the ways
of someone who shows himself with trees
the trees the trees
they clap their hands with joy
joy at the thought of what they show
the god of the universe,
the god of wanders
the god of earths, trees,
and sky

The rain falls from the sky above,

and the clouds silently smother the sun with love,

who says we need the sun,

puddles of mud are so much fun,

slip and slide down the grassy hill,

then stop to listen to the rain so still,

nature has its gloomy days too,

like people, nature can be blue,

a thunderstorm is what this weather might make,

This is nature at its best, doesn't the sun deserve a break!

The sites below contain TONS of nature poems. Just pick one you like on a topic you enjoy.

Here is my favorite.

Who Has Seen the Wind?
by Christina Rossetti

Who has seen the wind?
Neither I nor you;
But when the leaves hang trembling
The wind is passing through.

Who has seen the wind?
Neither you nor I;
But when the trees bow down their heads
The wind is passing by.

Go to poetry.com

My personal favorite is "Trees" by Sgt. Joyce Kilmer, so do a web search on that.

You can shake, you can jump, you can do a little dance.
But the last drop always falls in your pants.
