The War in Iraq has been going on for three years & to this day we still haven't got an exit stragety to leave. I know that no one likes war & I don't, either, but we can't just cut & run & not get the job done over there. At the cost of American lives over there, we're doing our best to turn over responsibilities for the Iraqis to take over their country & fight for liberty & freedom themselves. It was necessary to go to war & topple Saddam Hussein from power, but with the insurgency going on over there, it gets harder to get a handle on this situation. I sure pray & hope that we can complete the mission & bring our troops home soon as possible.

Yeah, I do. I think removing Saddam Hussien from power was a good thing, and in the long run, will help add peace and stability to that region. But only if we stay committed and keep a presence there.
But, I don't think this war has been run well, and I come close to tears every time I hear another one of our soldiers has been killed.
So, I have very mixed feelings.

No, i'm a Vietnam Vet and i fought a war that is the same thing that is going on now except that religion is involved and religious wars are very seldom solved. Look at Ireland????? there is still hatedred for two groups of people who fight in the name of our lord but what side is God on? We need to solve it on paper and get out or we will see more bloodshed and I'm afraid a world war 3???????

I think that there are alot of unnecessary deaths that are happening over in Iraq. The war is sending a message that we will not tolerate anything. I wish it was over so everyone can get back to their families.

the good thing was losing sadam
but look at the mess in iraq now
look at the soldiers who has to be placed in iraq
its no good...
the usa should leave the place b4 it turns to another vietnam...

How can war bring peace?
It makes no sense.
Why would I hurt people if I don’t want them to hurt me?
Since when did heroes kill? I just don’t understand.
