I think the Portuguese team has a good chance also. I'm a bit confused now. lol

France will surely reach the finals but Italy will take the cup home.

France has reached semi-finals with an odd walking. In stage1 thy were unimpressive (maybe awful!), but they've found proud, willingness, tactics, team spirit in the next match against Spain. Against Brazil they played very well, finally demonstrating to the world how their opponent was a soap-bubble, a bunch of champions and not a squad, a weak coach which played heavily unbalanced with Kaka, Ronaldinho, Adriano, Ronaldo together only because supporters want so.
Need to say WC is an unusual competition, teams have to play 7 match in few days, many of them have players shared all over the world who quite never play together. Some teams, espacially Europeans, are full of player who got some as 70 match in the year!
So, being unimpressive in stage1 definitively doesn't mean so much. As Italian, I remember the worst stage1 Italy ever played: Spain'82, when they won...
With France I was quite right, my prevision were they won Spain and have a 50% to win Brazil.
With Portugal I were totally wrong. My opinion was they had a 33% against Holland, and they deserved to win. Against England I guess 33% again, and again they deserved to win.
However, my prevision for tomorrow is the same again, 66% France (highly experienced, great morale after winning against Brazil, good plays with Ribery doing a lot of movement and runs, a tough midfield) - 33% Portugal (injuries, red cards, tired after the last match) --- so I should think Portugal will win again!?! :-)))
About Germany-Italy, I think they deserve 50% chances each.
Germans remember the heavy 4-1 suffered at last friendly match on 1 march 06. Many claims for Klinsmann resign.
It's sure they won't be over-confident.
Italy surely will start the match attacking. If I was forced to choose a winner, I'll go for Italy. Germans are more tired and I've seen them less running against Argentinians than in past matches.
In the final, I think Italy has an easier way against Portugal than France.

Portugal hasn't impressed me in either of their last 3 matches, but they have won which is obviously more important. I think France should handle them though and advance to the championship match where they will lose to Italy or Germany.
