Ask yourself that question. If you think that he like's you but scared to ruin your friendship then you should just talk to him about it first. Maybe he "does" like you but doesn't show it. Just believe in yourself and it'll be worth it in the end. Even though it might not work out.

Don't cross the line!
Your instincts--which are in place to keep you alive--tell you that he's not good for you. Listen to them. Now, it's possible to still have that attraction as an undercurrent. Just don't dive into the water. Know what I mean?
Maintain your friendship and that is it. If that gets to be too difficult for you, then put an end to you. You need to place your standards higher, and not focus on an admitted "player." When you do maintain your focus on something better, you will be rewarded in the end with someone who has many of the same traits, but who is also honest, faithful, and loving.

Have you fallen for him or will being with him boost your self-concept (ego). If so many other girls are chasing him then him being with you elevates you above all of them. You have an unrealistic expectation in regards to this fellow. You think poorly of yourself so why should he think any better. Do you really think he will give up his "player" ways for one girl? Guys are not that deep. You need to find a way to feel better about yourself, gain confidence, and then be the one girl who does not chase him. He will REALLY want you then. Be the one he doesn't get. You'll feel better about yourself.

Baby girl, you will only end up hurting yourself!! A man that has all the confidence and women chase, definatelh ahs nothing to loose! You would just be another girl on his list. Another one that he would tell a story about.

If you are already warning yourself off him, you know you can't get into a relationship with him. stay friends. Trust me, I've been there, and it won't end well. Fear is not a good basis for the start of a relationship. Good luck.

Be his friend. Until he's ready to stop being a "playa', and then you can give him a call.
