ccApp is also a process belonging to Norton Anti-Virus and the auto-protect feature of that application.

However ccApp is indeed also a virus so if you don't have Norton installed then it is very likely it is the virus. However, even if you have an old version or an expired version of Norton on your computer, ccApp may still be around. So, uninstall Norton, if present and see if ccApp goes away. If not then it is most definetly the virus.

And get yoursef some virus protection from any of these sources:

AVG Free, http://free.grisoft.com/
Avast, http://www.avast.com/
Anti-Vir, http://www.free-av.com/

I am sure u have Norton Antivirus software running at the background of yr OS, right? ccApp.exe is a file from Norton Antvirus program. Somehow if you're not using that as your anti-virus tool, i bet it could be a virus.Always beware of .exe file, it can be malicious sometimes.

I am using AVG AntiVirus as my default AntiVirus Software, Ad-Aware to search and delete spyware and Tenebril SpyCatcher to provide real-time protection against spyware. Also, I am using Zone Alarm as my firewall as well. Try scanning it using those that I just mentioned, hope it works. =)
