If you dont like tea, try just water. Get a water purifier if you dont have one to soften it a bit and pull out other impurities. Try to drink water that is warmer or room temperature. Doctors say 8 glasses a day. I say just get a cup to carry around. If you have it in front of you , you are more likely to use it. Avoid one with a straw or one that you have to suck out of for this will use the muscles you're trying to heal. And like everyone else has said, try not to talk.
Good luck with your talents.

well you might want to drink tea with honey although you don't like it...there are things in life that we don't like we just have to deal with and roll with the punches...drink the tea and let your vocal cords get the rest they may need...since you are an aspiring singer please know that there is a RIGHT and wrong way to sing/talk...if you ate always singing and puttin g strain on your cords/nodules this can cause permanent failure and risk losing your voice altogether... get under the proper training and enjoy your voice and singing... ABOVE All, take care of your temple...no smoking, drinking, eating too much junk

Tea with lemon will help. The most important this is to give them a chance to rest and recover. Number one: no whispering!! Whispering is actually MORE damaging than trying to talk. If you're not better in a couple of days please go to the doctor, but with rest and HOT tea (iced tea won't do it) you will hopefully be fine.

You voice will heal if you allow it to. Stop talking for a few days and use a pad and pen to communicate. Sip tea(any kind) with lemon juice. It really works.

Its dangerous! I hope you will not go to that place once again. Its because It will take some time for you to improve your voice. Nothing comes easy.Hope you can see your doctor for advice.

You'll be fine. Take it easy and don't try to talk. The more you try while they're injured, the longer it will take for them to heal.
