To all of you true baseball fans, I urge you to vote for Travis Hafner in the last chance voting for the MLB All-Star game. Even if you are not an Indians fan, if you are a baseball fan, you can see by the stats that he is above and beyond all the other contenders. If Hafner gets in he will also be participating in the Home Run derby. Let me tell you - he will hit some monster HR's if he gets in the derby - might even hit the river in Pittsburgh.

VOTE HAFNER !!!!

Go to MLB.com to vote.

I've been voting for Hafner like crazy. We are huge Indians fans & that guy can hit. I think Hafner has a chance. I'm glad to see Grady Sizemore playing in the All Star also!

Tough call on Hafner vs Liriano. Both are deserving of making the team. I had voted for Liriano because his stuff is electric. But I totally did not take the HR derby into account which is a great point ...

The thing about Hafner is that with Ortiz and Thome already serving as statues masquerading as first basemen, and Ozzie selecting every White Sox player that he could find who could possibly play 1B i.e. Paul Konerko there is no room or need for another PH on the roster IMHO....

So as much as Hafner has meant to the Indians and my fantasy team this year, I had to go with Liriano ...

I don't know if I can, given that Liriano is 9-1 with a 1.99 ERA. That's Cy Young material there. Hafner is having a great season and should be on the team, but not over Liriano.

it was a tough choice but i had to vote for liriano - that guy is just sick. and i dont think it matters if hafner if on the all-star team or not i think he can still participate in the HR derby. i think i remember in previous years it was the top hr hitters in each league regardless of weather they are in the all-star game or not.

It's too bad that Hafner is a DH, because that is going to hurt his chances of being selected with Thome and Big Papi already on the team. (Too many DH's)

I think Liriano will probably get the nod.

Sorry, Liriano is getting my vote as well.

Although him being left off isn't nearly as much of a joke as Garciaparra being left off in the NL.
