If so, PLEASE! list how you took the drug, and how long it took to get preganant. If you did at all. I am just sooo heart broken, that I have been trying for a couple of years, and I just started clomid last month. Needless to say, it didn't work this month. Just wanted alittle hope to try to hang on to. Thank You!!!!

I haven't taken it myself, but, yes, it does help many people. But it can have side effects that can *decrease* fertility at the same time that it forces your body to ovulate. These can usually be *treated*. So you should make sure that you aren't having another problem in addition to not ovulating...

Please read _Taking Charge of Your Fertility_ by Toni Weschler. It will help you maximize your likelihood of conceiving.

Good luck!!

Yes, i have had two pregnancies while taking Clomid (even though they resulted in a miscarriage). First you should be monitored while on Clomid. I take Clomid cyle days (CD) 3-7 then on CD 14 I go to the doctor, have a vaginal ultrasound done to see if my eggs are bigger than 20mm, if they are, I get a shot of Norval to make me ovulate within 36 hours. It has worked so far 2 out of 4 times.

Clomiphene Citrate helps in rectifying a few cases of infertility but not always! A detailed investigation has to be done on your hormonal levels before the reasons are diagnosed. Consult a gynaecologist and look at your FSH, LH, Prolactin levels to come to a suitable guideline!!!
