Do you think they'll ever make a sequel to the movie Goonies? Corey Feldman wants there to be one. I don't desparately want to see it made, but I do like the first movie.

Its kind of like asking for Police Academy 8 to be not just a reunion but a hand down to a new generation. 10 years ago (2 after the last one) would have worked. Not now.

To do a Goonies 2 after what? 20+ years is just not feasable.

It would be "do-able" if they had all new actors (younger generation) since the original actors are now too old for there to be any believability in a Goonie Adventure in their 30s & 40s! I mean, can you see Chunk, Mouth & Mikey on bikes today?! But get a new cast, a great premise & a terrific script & make a new Goonies - sure! I'd go see it & I think it would work! Maybe do it as the kids of the original actors having a Goonie adventure! They all grew up hearing about their folks' adventures searching for OneEyed Willie's treasure & they decide to see if there is an adventure for themselves . . . hmmm, maybe I should write that down! Good question!

If you remember Goonies 2 was actually mad but as a video game for the Nintendo Entertainment System. I know not a real sequel but that is what it was called and what it was meant to be becuase it was an independent story from the Movie.

If you watch the DVD version with the commentary, I beleive that they do talk about coming back together, but a couple of the people (the girl that played "Andie") were not up for it. Also, Feldman could be likely in and out of re-hab. Haven't heard much about his latest conditions. Would I like to see one, yes! That would be great! But that is in the same category as Ghostbusters coming back for redemption on a bad Sequal. (It really was bad.)

I don't think it's a good idea. I mean, most of the "older" characters from the movie are dead & the kids are all grown up it wouldn't look right....unless someone wrote a really good script then maybe, but I doubt it.
