Lesbians don't like men but they use phallic symbols like vibrators. Isn't that sort of a heterosexual paradox? I saw this couple on a talk show years ago. They were lesbians. The odd thing was one of them use to be a man. He had a sex change of course. What gets me is the other woman (a lesbian) was this guys/girls partner now. He was still a man in a way. My question I guess is this...are lesbians just opposed to men because their sexual organs are attached to them? I really would like an informed answer.

I'm not a lesbian, but feel I can clear up some of your confusion as a gay man. First of all, transgender people don't "become" anything else. The person in question was NOT "still a man" in any way. Her mind (which, believe it or not, gays and lesbians CAN and DO find attractive) was always female; she presumably had whatever surgeries and most probably hormones so that her body matched her mind.
Second, lesbians aren't "anti-man" any more than I'm "anti-woman". I don't want to date them, and I might find their girly bits a little icky, but I'm not a raging cheuvanist. That having been said, lesbians MAY be more inclined to realize just how bad the patriarchy of our society is, but feminists don't hate men, they just hate male privelidge. Which everyone should.
The last thing I'll say is that sexual behaviors have nothing to do with orientation. It's like...if a guy only does a certain thing with other guys that he COULD in theory be doing to girls, that doesn't mean he likes girls. (Trying to not be graphic). Also, straight men can enjoy physical stimulation in places where most straight men never explore; doesn't make him gay. So, the sexual behavior of lesbians (or most people for that matter) doesn't matter nearly so much (to the individual) as who it's done with.

I am a lesbian and no I have no desire to be with a man. Been there, done that and it was a disaster. There are MANY lesbians that don't use toys! I can tell you that neither my partner nor I have any desire for that. We use what we have and it works out perfect for us. My reasoning for not being with a man is because I have found my soul mate in my partner....who happens to be in the form of a woman. Would I be with a man if we split up? I'd have a very, very hard time with it. Would I be with another woman? That would be hard, too. I'd go that route much faster than I would a man, though.

the reason you're confused is because you've made assumptions.
First I don't dislike men at all, some of my best friends (and a couple of ex lovers) happen to men.
Secondly don't think that all lesbian/bi women use phallic's. There are so many ways women please each other that don't require penetration.
That's a a myth created by straight men I guess

When we born to this world as either male or female our genitals 'compliment' each other in term of biological and sexual point of view.
The next best things which fits woman anatomy is d**k. If you a lesbian you have left with no choice than have to adopt the concept of penis and vagina to compliment each other sexual needs. You could replace with oral sex etc but nothing compares to penetration- the ultimate sexual experience and senses.
As this couple in the talk show...'he' had sex change but maybe he disliked the idea that he had a 3rd legs. 'He' also might feel if he still has 'a male organ' which is contradict with what he feels inside ( wanting to be woman completely) something not right. So he has to get rid of it. Mentally he prefers woman but for himself physicaly, he hates to be a man.
His hormone controls what he thinks and feels but when it comes to sex ie to lesbian, nothing beat sexual intercourse like i explain above to majority of people! Having said that, I have a friend-lesbian BUT she doesnt like penetration, let alone the dildo/strap-on inside her. So it varies!
The p0wer of hormone is so powerful and complex depends on each individual. Moreover, it could get 'mixed' up too.

Not all lesbians don't like men. I have nothing against men or their sexual organs, I am just more attracted to women than men.

im not sure of how to answer this except that..yes we use toys that resemble parts..but thats not everything to it...but my thing is you cant help who you fall in love with. and if he was a man he is still not a man in some way...transgendered are people who are somebody else inside and they make themselves that way on the outside to match their feelings inside
