well not to alarm you rare cancers have been found and the patient said it started with you symptoms desciptions hopefully in your case its something minor ans runners nipples, or an allergic reaction maybe suden shift in hormones pms/menopause. get checked out its more probable a female get it than a male. better safe than sorry

rough boyfriend mabee. Just kidding. Some clothing causes irritation on nipples. Try to see if it happens with certain articles of clothing, and eliminate that. I used to put 2 small bandaids on my nipples, when I wore the particular shirts that irritated my nipples,

Well I had that problem too. Sore nipples later I found out its because my boyfriend sucked on them all the time. I had to tell him to leave them alone for a while.

Trying letting them get some air...Always wearing a bra can cause irritation. Mine get sensitive too but usually around my period. I try going a day or so without a bra.
