My brother recently bought land outside of Tucson on a golf course....and he told me that you don't have to be a member of a country club to play there. He quoted some very good prices to me that were part of a development project there. With the arid climate that is so good for people with allergies and /or cardiopulmonary problems, and the dry heat that is so soothing to arthritis sufferers...it is a very good investment right now, especially with the real estate situation in CA pricing local people out of their home market and the wave of aging americans that will want to sell and move. There is a whole town for 55+ in AZ It's a big deal right now for those that can do it.
