I'm tired of reading comments calling the Portuguese cheaters. We played half of our games with one or two less players because of unfair bookings. Rooney? He just put his foot were his head was. Go cry somewhere else. Portugal will win the Cup.

Firstly, Christiano Ronaldo is well known in the UK and abroad for his on-the-ball trickery and also his theartrical diving and 'play-acting' FACT which is unsporting and unimpressive to see.
Rooney was actually red-carded for pushing Ronaldo who had been goading him before the match and during the match Not for accidentally stepping on Carvalio's (a very dirty player too) gonads.FACT
Its not about England being 'sore-losers' but its all about Ronaldo's conduct who firstly told Rooney he would 'take him out of the game' THEN after handshaking before kick-off Ronaldo headbutted Rooney in the players tunnel THEN Ronaldo displayed oscar-winning theatrical diving whenever anyone tried to tackle him and THEN proceeded to windup Rooney when Carvalio was writhing after the accident The result here was Rooney pushed him (Referee thought he punched him) which lead him to be sent off AT this point Ronaldo was winking to his teammates in a 'jobdone' manner. By removing Rooney our star striker meant we were down to 10men which make things harder Suffice to say if we had 11players on the pitch and the ref should have gave us a penalty for the blatant handball incident (think the player was Carvalio) then we most certainly would have ben through
Sore loosers? Ithink not! Ripped off? Indeed! Now you have the facts even as a Portugese fan you may now be able to see more sense and construct a better arguement!

Yeah, England fans get some balls and take the lose, Cristiano Ronaldo didn't do anything, Rooney did it himself.
With Deco and Costinho back, Portugal is a lock to win the World Cup. Euro 2004 was all Portugal but freakin' Greece had to spoil it.

fact, the Media made more of a mess out of this than the players or the fans.
Rooney did tread on the nuts of a player.(fact with out dispute)
Rooney did push Ronaldo, right in front of the Ref (Fact without dispute).
Ronaldo didn't even take notice of the push but the ref did (fact, watch replays, I don't think he realized it was Rooney pushing him).
Boon5 brought up a tunnel head but, you clearly saw something that none of the rest of us saw.
Boon5 would also suggest that Ronaldo was the getting away with going to ground easy (fact, no body got a yellow because of his theatrics).
Boon5 must read the SUN, because his narrow views aren't those of any one that saw the game and wasn't clouded by the flag.
dude, Rooney and England have much to work out, but if you think that the world cup was lost because of that card, then explain why england hadn't scored in the first 62minutes..
I know why, they were crap.. ALL tournament...
Lucky against T&T, more so against Ecuador... Rooney was frustrated at being sole work horse in front..

Sven Goren - bad tactics from the beginning - never answered why he brought Theo or why he didn't play Gerrard behind Rooney..
Ref - clearly biased.
England squad - doing the talk but never walking the walk...
I don't like the gamesmanship... FIFA definitely has to clean that up, and also for the record, Ronaldo should have received a yellow for running up to the ref and pleading some kind of case.
Regardless of who is at fault, time to let it go... now Man United have pieces to pick up and that is more important to me.

I am actually upset Canada didnt beat Portugal. After all Canada's down like 25 players---they should win.
