Its a bicentennial quarter and it has a colonial drummer on the front and washington on the flip side. I just came acrossed it in my change jar.

I doubt whether it has gone up in value, since so many of them were minted. However, if is uncirculated or in excellent condition it may be worth slightly more, but not much, I recommend if in very good or better condition to save for your kids or grandkids.

25 cents. They are not very rare, although a lot of people apparently collect them. My housemate was born in 1976 and she has jars full of them.

My guess is that it would be worth about 25 cents. Not trying to be funny, but I am not sure that quarter has appreciated in value just yet.
