The moon does not have an atmosphere to keep out heat, like our Earth does. Yes, the Earth does keep out some heat...otherwise, we'd all be baked alive.
And the moon isn't always further away from the sun than we are. THe moon is always revolving around the earth and at some points do come in between the sun and the earth. haven't you ever heard of an eclipse?
And why do you talk like that?

The moon would be hot on the surface that is facing the moon, and the surface facing away from the sun would be cold. The atmosphere would have an effect because it wouldn't keep the heat in like on Earth. On Earth the atmosphere acts like a greenhouse keeping the heat in even when the sun is on the other side of the planet. So the moon would only stay hot on the side the sun is shinning on because of the radiant heat. So once that surface moves out of the sun, it would cool down.

cause, the moon don't be having no atomespher like we be having. So it be ot as hell on the moon. There be nothing to stop the heat of the sun hitting the surface.

it has no atmosphere that's air (earth has one of them(earth is where you live.....I think) it keeps radiation out) that's to maintain a constant temperature the moon is 250 degrees on the lite side and negative 250 on the dark side and no it is not made of cheese it is the result of an asteroid impact about 4.5 million years ago
