Get drunk and set off fireworks to start fires (well, my neighbor does that.)

Most people just make it an event to have a big get together with friends and family. Theres food on the grill, possibly home made ice cream and lots of fresh, cold, iced tea. (And a cold brew for the guys!) Everyone has a great time and then at dusk everyone gathers wherever the city is shooting off the fireworks.
Some people go out of town and do the same thing. Meet up at the lake or something fun.

I do everything everyone else does, but I also have a ceremony where the Declaration of Independence is read out loud, so that we don't forget why we celebrate.

I'm going camping in the mountains. After a day of fishing, we will be
cooking hot dogs, (because we wont catch any fish, we never do.)
Playing a game of cards and drinking a bud lite.
Doesn't get any more American than that!

I couldn't give a flying fu*k what the yanks do. Just remember we left America because we were more interested in the British Raj. It would be a different story today if we weren't and there definitely wouldn't be an independence day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Eat, drink, laugh, and most of all see a parade. Then on the other hand alot don't even care, heck they can't even stand up when the color gaurd goes by in a parade. Me I just pray I am not subjected to anything like 9/11 again

Normally I drink some brew, set off some illegally purchased fireworks, and try to not think about work. I also watch baseball on tv.

That depends. Some go to fireworks displays, some go have barbeque's with family and friends and some idiots go get drunk, then drive their cars and go out and run into innocent people and kill them.

Have BBQ's, blast off fireworks, go to the beach, visit relatives.
