I'm Portuguese so you would say that I'd say Portugal... yet, after seeing France play I would say France... Their defense is well organized and they got strong tatics.
Still... you never know if Germany (being the organizer) will get a little hand from the refs...
Nevertheless I say France.

three factors to determining ultimate winner.
1) who will be attacking - as we saw teams that sat back, Argentina, Switzerland, England and Brazil - don't seem to last.
2) Who can absorb, and counter attack - Germany, France and Italy all have a capacity to get hammered about by defence and then counter.
3) Who have got the drive and passion to win - do what it takes?
three of the four teams left meet these criteria, admittedly Italy, with all of the problems in SerieA, and France - with all of the doubt at the beginning of the tournament, seem to be hitting stride at the right time.
Germany with 2 strikers up front seem to be best suited to the counter, but that is also the case with France and Italy.
Passion, all 4 teams have drive to push to the end. So what will be the outcome.
Italy, are looking pollished right now and have Luca Toni now scoring, scary - midfield and Defence are holding and absorbing..
I see Italy in the final.
France, empassioned, unitied (finally) look to be the bigger threat on the other semi (I like Portugals' passion) but I think it will come down to organization, and Scolari is a far better manager then french guy (shows you what his impression is when I can't remember his name).
If France get the early one, I see them through 1-nil, but Portugal with Deco is different then Portugal without. watch out, this match up definitely has some promise.
Regardless, the Italians have much to prove, and are looking (even though lucky against Australia) starting to peak. I think they will eliminate Germany and win the entire thing..
But, I just want to be entertained, so go Portugal, never a dull moment.

Here's hoping for an Italy versus France final!! Italy have a gr8 record against Germany (including @ club level!), but Germany have never lost an international in Dortmund. Hopefully Italy will come through the semi providing it does not go to penalties.
France are coming good @ the right time with Zizou showing his world-class, but also with hard-working players like Makelele proving themselves contenders after being written off. Besides, I don't like the Portuguese attitude. They sought to violently disrupt the opposition, first against the Dutch and then England. They didn't play to win against England & their opponents squandered plenty more chances to win in normal time. Lucky 4 them that England are hopeless at spot kicks. It's French flair and class against Portuguese gamesmanship...I know who I think deserves to be there...
France-Italy final and a toss-up for who I'd like to see win. France 4 Zizou's adieu or Italy for putting the troubles at home behind them.

I believe France will win because they suddenly woke up and have been playing well the last few games.
Germany has the home turf advantage so i think they will get to the finals. I think the score in the finals will be 1-2 for France

Brazil was my Fav. and now after that it seems that FRANCE is in full Confidence...coz they defeat the 1 of the best team !...so possiblities are more for france...
Portugal had won the last match.....but by Penalty Shoot out !...that's why their chances r less !
