1. Dress conservatively:(think: Republican banker) suit and tie (if it's that kind of job), no visible piercings (unless you're female, and then only in your ears) minimal jewelry, hide any tatoos. Shave, neat hair,etc.

2. Research the company: Make sure you know what they do.

3. Put cellphone on vibrate or silent (or better yet, leave it in the car) if it goes off during the interview, you're toast.

4. Look the interviewer in the eye, and don't start any sentences with "Um..."

5. Have it clear in your head how'll you'll answer the question: "What experiences have you had that might benefit you here?"

6. Have extra copies of your resume with you.

7. Be relaxed and confident: Think "Your search is over. Here I am."

Opening standard question is ,'Tell us somthing about yourself", no matter what the job. They often us what you could add to their institution, so know about their company and always include that you are a team player. Don't study much because they rarely ask you anything you've studied. I've rehearsed answers and studied what I believe I might be asked about the job. It is a WASTE of TIME. Look relaxed- fold your hands on the table or use the body language they are using. Look at each interviewer when you are answering questions and smile. BUT... realize that it's not necessarily the interview that will get you the job- they might have someone already in mind but co. policy requires them to interview a certain no. of candidates.
