Okay, it takes me about 5 minutes for me to open the "My Computer" at the start list, I just got another 160 gb hard drive which makes my computer to have 3 80 gb hard drives, so is that causing my computer to slow down or what? When I just installed the hard drive into my computer it was working fine, till now... What's wrong? I have one 512 + 256 MB DDR RAM and 3.0 GHZ computer and also, should I try disc defragment? Help!

Disc Fragmentation could help...could. Also check to see the number of items that you have on your desktop. It's best to have 'shortcuts" instead of the actual file. That will speed things up a bit. Also try clearning your 'cache' (run a search on that word) and your temporary files.
you may also want to run something to remove spam and other files that have been downloaded while you surf on your computer. (your anitvirus may not have picked them all up.) Hope this helps.

Well i guess both of your hard disks are ATA ( the connecting port looks like the CD rom port, IDE cable) u must change the jumpers of the hard disk if u want2 use two in one pc. Disconnect the second harddisk u will see 8 pins like this (::::)one pair of them is connected with a jumper. Where ever it is remove the jumper and put it on the second pair (:":"::) and connect the hard disk again but do not connect the CD and DVD roms. After checking if its working well, then connect the CD and DVD roms.

There could be many reasons for your problem,i would first make sure all my garbage files are cleaned up(cookies, tmp, cache etc.) In XP go to Start>RUN>CHKDSK /F,at the dialogue box type Y,then restart, after reloading and if you still have this problem, there is always possibility of a virus.Online there are sites like Symantec.com,Trendmicro.com that offer online system scanning, just in case your antivirus has been comprimised(this has happened to me)

Your machine is probably riddled with spyware. Chances are you're part of a spam botnet too. You should get some antivirus and antispyware software and run it. Also, Windows needs reinstalling every year or two or it just starts to run down.

It's probably loaded up with spyware. Get a spyware removal program or do and online check. You can google for it under spyware. Also. you may have a virus. You may check your start-up program and see how many applications you have running. Task manager will tell you what your CPU use level is.

1. Download, update, and run Ad-Aware. 2. Download, update, and run Spy-bot Search and Destroy. 3. Download, update, and run AVG Anti-virus. Then Defragment C:\ drive. Do these all often.
